Volunteering with your pet is a great way to give back to your community.

Pet therapy training is available through Dynamic Dog Training, owned and operated by our President, Susan Parker and Vice President, Harry Parker. As a recognized AKC pet therapy organization, teams certified through Paws From The Heart are eligible for the AKC pet therapy title.
Adopting a shelter dog? We have a special place in our hearts for shelter pups and discounts will be extended to recently adopted pets.
All of the teams in our organization will need to have the following:
- Proof of current vaccines
- Fecal test results within the past year
- Vet’s letter stating that your dog is healthy and able to participate in pet therapy
- Current town/city dog license
- C.L.A.S.S. and/or CGC certification
- Proof that your dog is on your homeowner’s insurance
- Paws From The Heart Pet Therapy Certification
All dogs must be a minimum of 12 months old to join. Dogs must be able to do therapy work without the use of an aversion collar. All teams need to go through two continuing education units and re-certification annually. New teams are
required to have 10 hours of therapy work with a senior handler before going solo. Each teams needs to carry out a minimum of two therapy visits per month at a venue of their choice. Teams also need to participate in group events when the opportunity arises. Dogs
who show signs of behavior issues post-certification will be dismissed. Teams who do not meet these requirements will be asked to leave.
